Campaign Story
I am Mrs. Adejoke Elizabeth Adebulumo, a 28-year-old woman who has been receiving care at the renal unit of the University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital Complex in Ondo State for the past year. I am currently being treated for end stage renal disease secondary to chronic glomerulonephritis. I have been undergoing maintenance haemodialysis for the same duration, but unfortunately, I am unable to receive the optimal and regular care I need due to financial constraints.
The estimated monthly cost of my care amounts to four hundred and ninety-four thousand naira, broken down as follows:
– Haemodialysis: ₦90,000 weekly, ₦360,000 monthly
– Erythropoietin: ₦21,000 weekly, ₦84,000 monthly
– Oral Medications: ₦7,500 weekly, ₦30,000 monthly
– Laboratory Investigations: ₦5,000 weekly, ₦20,000 monthly
In addition to this, I will require a kidney transplantation, which comes with a substantial cost of about thirteen million naira. This procedure is crucial for my long-term well-being and quality of life.
I humbly implore anyone who may read this letter to consider offering me the much-needed assistance. Your support will not only alleviate my immediate financial burden but also open the door to a brighter and healthier future.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs. Adejoke Elizabeth Adebulumo
